I have been to countless weddings these days with beautiful wedding cakes and yet never getting to taste the cake, whether it was because I was too full after my meal, or it was not served, or placed in an odd location. Something that seems to be very popular now days is to have the cake sliced and placed in wax bags or small boxes. This way your guests can choose to eat it during the reception or if they prefer to take the cake with them. This is also a great option if you are having a grooms cake at the wedding.
