Cake Friday: The Wheels on the Bus Go Round and Round.....
Taking a super cute birthday invitation we made todays "Wheels on the Bus" cake. This two year old loves school buses so we made him a fitting cake for his birthday party!

| First, using rolled out yellow fondant a school bus is cut. |

| Using small fondant details and food coloring paint, the school bus is finished. |

| Using a pattern a chevron is marked on gray fondant. |

| The chevrons are cut out. |

| The chevrons are added to a yellow and white buttercream iced 2 tier cake. |

| The bottom tier is finished with the chevron design. |

| Cream fondant polka dots are cut out. |

| With a touch of water the polka dots are added to the top tier. |

| Black fondant is added to the top of the base tier to appear as a road. |

| To give the cakes a finished look a black rope is added to the bases. |

| Carter's name is hand painted to look similar to the font on the invitation. |

| The bus and name plate are added to finish this cake up! |
