Cake Friday: Rubber Ducky You're the One

| First, the two tiers are covered in ivory fondant. |

| Next, various colors are created in "baby" shades. |

| Stripes are cut in the various colors. |

| Using a touch of water the stripes are attached to the bottom tier in an alternating pattern. |

| The top tier is secured with dowels. |

| Ridged polka dots are cut using a cutter. |

| Then they are cut in half. |

| Along, the edge of the horizontal stripe water is applied using a water pen. |

| The half polka dot circles are applied to create a scalloped edge. |

| Next, a long rope is rolled out. |

| Using water the rope is applied to the edge of the stripe. |

| Meanwhile, the body of the topper is created using gumpaste. |

| Water put on the body to cover it with yellow fondant. |

| "BABY" is cut out with cookie cutters. |

| The letters are placed in the center of the horizontal stripe. |

| Using an exacto, the letters are trimmed and centered. |

| Indent lines are added to the topper to give it texture....can you guess what it will be yet?! |

| Using edible food coloring stitching is hand painted to match the napkin...can you spy it in the photo? |

| Your next clue...wings are added to the topper. |

| Toothpick supports are placed into the body of the topper so the head can be attached. |
