Wedding Wednesday: Anniversary Top Tier

Although trends and traditions are changing, a lot of people are no longer freezing their top tiers of cake, but rather ordering a cake in the same flavors on their anniversary. Relaying your plans with your decorator is very important. This information is important for a decorator because when calculating the size of the cake,  if you are saving the top tier, this will not be included in the number of servings for the guests. Since, this is no longer the norm if you do want to save the top tier it is very important to relay this information. So before you place the order of your wedding cake make sure you and your fiancé discuss what your plans are.
