How to Ice the Perfect Cupcake!

 
In this short clip above a pastry chef at The Cake Boutique demonstrates how to ice the perfect cupcake! She starts with homemade buttercream that has been whipped to a creamy consistency. She then positions her piping bag to the side of the cupcake and with a turn of the wrist fills the top with icing. When she gets back to her starting place a gentle pull finishes off the cupcake without  leaving a point. Next, forming a "cup" with her hand she applies decorations to the edge of the cupcake...and poof the perfect cupcake!
