12 Hours In Mullica Hill
If you were going to spend 12 hours in Mullica Hill you HAVE to stop at The Cake Boutique... but then again we might be a little biased. If you don't trust our opinion take Bobby Olivier's, staff writer for the South Jersey Times. Today, we were featured in an article titled 12 Hours in Mullica Hill.
After a brief digestion period, it was back up the road to Cake Boutique, a 3-year-old bakery opened by Alexandra Benas, whose family owns the Harrison House diner across the street. The Boutique does not exude the same, old-fashioned charm as the rest of Mullica Hill -- the walls are bubblegum pink, and Taylor Swift plays from the radio. And within this youthful burst has come the area's most spectacular specialty cakes, and an array of festive cupcakes for daily browsers. The chocolate vanilla cookie crunch cupcake, with Easter Bunny flair, was light and moist.
