Cake Friday: Fun & Funky Topsy Turvy
Turning 30 is a special birthday and The Cake Boutique knows how to do it right! Look at the step by step process of how we made a fun, funky, topsy turvy 30th birthday cake!
First, the topsy turvy tiers are covered in black or white fondant. |
The tiers are stacked and doweled for support. |
White diamonds are put on the bottom tier in an argyle pattern. |
Red fondant balls are created for the borders of the tiers. |
Silver dragees are embedded in the top tier. |
Next red fondant is rolled to create an abstract rose. |
The roses are placed on the cake in three bunches for a finishing touch. |
