Wedding Wednesday: The Cupcake Trend

      Many non- traditional couples these days are opting to go with cupcakes for their wedding rather than doing a large cake. Some couples choose to still do a small cake to cut into, but have cupcakes for their guests.

      When cupcakes first came onto the scene as an option for weddings it was a great way for people to save a little bit of money, as most cupcakes are $2-$3 a piece compared to your average wedding cake which runs $5-$8 per serving. Not only are cupcakes a less expensive option, they are also a great way to offer a variety of flavors. They are a great addition to a dessert table, as they are grab and go with them being individually wrapped in cupcake papers.
     Many bakeries, like us, even rent cupcake stands to make your cupcakes a center piece. We have even set up a wedding which used wooden crates for a rustic look. Cupcakes are a super fun option, and can even be decorated to go along with your weddings colors and theme. So when choosing your wedding dessert consider cupcakes as an option!
