Step-By-Step Cake




Last, week we posted a sneak peek of our step by step cake of the week! Check out how this gold and green football themed cake came to life! 


First, gold fondant is used to cover the bottom tier.

Next, the extra is trimmed with a rolling wheel.

The cake is then lustered with gold edible powder.

Dowels are added to support the top tier.

Green stripes are cut.

With a touch of water the stripes are applied. 

White beads are created using a mold.

They are then applied to the sides of the stripes.

The top tier is covered in white fondant.

A dowel is placed through the cake for support.

Balls are created for the base of the cake.

Polka Dots are applied to the top tier.


Smaller gold polka dots are cut out and lustered.

A gold and green twist border is
rolled out and placed on the top.

A football topper is placed on top
(made previously to give time to dry).

Using a rolled rope, a 1 is created.

Using liquid food coloring a banner is created.

TA-DA!
